Come fly with us from The Keepers Lodge in our family privately owned 2024 Robinson R44 Raven 2 Helicopter. The Llyn Peninsula is one of the most beautiful places to fly, the coast hills and scenery are magnificent. The route would take us Trefor, Nefyn, Morfa Nefyn, Tudewiliog, Barsdey, Aberdaron, Abersoch, Pwllheli, Porthmadog and back to The Keepers Lodge. Flights are from The Keepers Lodge and return to The Keepers Lodge. Date and time are specific and can be issued one week in advance of your stay with us. This is exclusively for the use of guests in the lodge and is charged on a cost sharing basis.

G-OJDG is equipped with the latest Garmin Avionics, Auto Pilot, Air Conditioning and Leather Interior. G-OJDG is maintained under CAMO by Heliair at Wycombe AirPark. The R44 helicopter is a popular, four-seat light helicopter manufactured by Robinson Helicopter Company since 1992. Side-by-side seating for a pilot and three passengers, and a semi-rigid two-bladed main rotor. The R44 is known for its safety, affordability, lower operating costs, and use in training and personal transport.

The pilot, Jono Garton, is a UK CAA PPL (H) with over 200 hours flying time in R44’s, Jono declares his medical with the UK CAA. Jono’s flown all over the world including South Africa and America.
